8. Call Me Claus (2001)
It's a TV movie in which Whoopi Goldberg plays a shopping network executive who is selected to become the new Santa Claus. 'Nuff said.
Basically a less funny version of the Tim Allen vehicle The Santa Clause, this film also bears the sad distinction of being the final film acted in by the legendary Nigel Hawthorne, who played Santa.
Though Hawthorne and Goldberg give solid performances, this one goes exactly where you expect it to, and there's a fair amount of blue dialogue that seems a little inappropriate for a film aimed squarely at kids, because why would any grown adult watch this in their right mind?
