Tye Sheridan has been quietly working his way up through Hollywood since 2011. Debuting in The Tree of Life, he went on to star in a number of movies, including Mud, Joe, Last Days In The Desert and The Stanford Prison Experiment. Though he had received acclaim from critics for many of his performances, he was introduced to a more mainstream audience in 2016 when he portrayed comic book character Cyclops in X-Men: Apocalypse.
His standout performance in the film was only the beginning of his time in the spotlight as he would then go on to lead Steven Spielberg's blockbuster Ready Player One.
Now a Hollywood headliner, Sheridan is destined to lead plenty more films as his career progresses, and he will start next year, when he reprises his role in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and plays the lead role in upcoming crime drama The Night Clerk.
