Probably the most hilarious moment in the entire movie comes when the depths of government agent Max Denbigh aka C's (Andrew Scott) scumbaggery is revealed. Throughout the movie he's been attempting to establish a Nine Eyes surveillance protocol, which would give him access to an unprecedented data network, allowing him and his employees to spy on pretty much whoever they want, all in the interest of "national security". M, disturbed by this, clashes with him throughout the film, and once M discovers that he's been in league with Blofeld, C attempts to shoot him, telling him that he knows what the M stands for: "moron". However, the gun clicks and it turns out M removed the bullets earlier, holding them up and telling C, "Now I know what C stands for... callous." Of course, the joke is that M is actually calling C a "c***", probably the naughtiest swear word in the English language. They may have got an F-bomb in Skyfall, but the C-word wouldn't fly here, so they employed it in a clever way by just implying it, even if it would've been slightly funnier if M didn't say "callous" at the end. It's easily one of the most risque jokes in the entire series and brought the house down in several screenings.
