15. Ratatouiile - A Familiar Canine Shadow

It would be another two years before the shadowy hint on the wall in Ratatouille would become clearer to Pixar fans - in the meantime, they still had Wall-E to look forward to. The time gap between this easter egg and the related film is a great indication of just how much forward thinking goes on at the studio. The shadow in question doesn't appear for long and can be seen in the scene when Remy is running through Paris. If you haven't already guessed it from the screenshot above, it belongs to Dug, the lovable canine featured in the film Up.
