28. A Bug's Life - Fancy A Pizza?

Pixar's second movie took audiences deep into the undergrowth into the lives of insects, retelling Aesop's The Ant and the Grasshopper. With great voice work Kevin Spacey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Hyde Pearce it went up against DreamWorks' Antz, which opted for more verbal humour and satire rather than Pixar's colourful visual gags. Nodding back to the previous Pixar movie a Pizza Planet truck can be seen parked next to the mobile home before Flick enters Bug City - it's one of Pixar's recurring easter eggs, having appeared in everything from Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo through to Up and Toy Story 3. In A Bug's Life the artists also threw in a Pizza Planet cup in Bug City for good measure.
