In 2009, the notion of big-name actresses playing strippers wasnt as enticing as one would think. The reason: thanks to actresses like Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba, it became clear that Hollywoods leading ladies had no intention of portraying pole dancers who, you know, actually strip off their garments. But then along came Jessica Biel, who saved the day by letting her stripper characters breasts go free and bath in hot wax in the thriller Powder Blue. Just like that, all was once again right with the world. In the ensemble drama, Biel plays a drugged up, strung out stripper with a son in a coma.
