Halloween 2018 Jamie Lee Curtis
Universal

A direct sequel to the original Halloween, which will disregard all of the other nine sequels, Halloween 2018 will once again pit Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode against Michael Myers.

Directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the movie with Danny McBride, the movie promises to return the franchise back to its truly terrifying roots and wrap-up the story in a way that feels much closer to the 1978 version, with forty years having passed in movie universe too.

John Carpenter served as a creative consultant, while it's being produced by Blumhouse, who are making some of the most daring and just great horror movies around right now.
