30 Most Memorable Oscar Moments From The Last 30 Years

19. Angelina Jolie's Weird Brotherly Love (2000)

Angelina Jolie won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2000 for her performance in Girl, Interrupted, but her triumph was ultimately overshadowed by her bizarre behaviour on both the red carpet and the awards podium itself.

On the red carpet, Jolie was snapped giving her brother, James Haven, an eyebrow-raisingly passionate kiss on the lips, and once she went to the stage to collect her Oscar, she declared to be "so in love with [her] brother right now."

Naturally all the glossy tabloids could talk about was the prospect of an Oscar-winning actress having incestuous tendencies, while Jolie expressed disappointment with the public reaction.

In recent years it was revealed that the day of the Oscars was also the first day of Jolie's mother being treated for cancer, which goes a way to explaining the kiss...kinda.
