31 Horror Movies To Watch This October

Earlier this year, Amazon Prime Video announced that they were partnering with Blumhouse Productions to release a series of eight horror movies direct to the streaming service over the next year under an umbrella called "Welcome to the Blumhouse."

The first four of these projects are due to drop in October. Black Box chronicles a man (Mamoudou Athie) who loses his wife and his memory in car accident, prompting him to undergo a dangerous experiment; The Lie sees a young woman (Joey King) confess to killing her best friend; Evil Eye follows a superstitious woman (Sarita Choudhury) who believes her daughter's new boyfriend is a reincarnation of a man from her past; and Nocturne sees a young pianist make a devilish pact to overtake her older sister at a prestigious music conservatory.

While it remains to be seen how these unassuming projects will turn out, they should in the least offer up some trashy comfort food in October.

Black Box and The Lie hit Amazon Prime on October 6th, while Evil Eye and Nocturne follow on October 13th.
