Here's a moment that's undeniably entertaining but feels completely out of step with the tone of the series to date. When Dom and Deckard both prepare their weapons for the street fight, a jarring orchestral score begins playing out which sounds very familiar to the "epic" music heard during the Smith-Neo fight at the end of The Matrix Revolutions. Check it out for yourself here: it sound absolutely ridiculous, and composer Brian Tyler probably knew exactly what he was doing.
