With the drone hot on the tail of Letty and Ramsey, Hobbes saves the day by chasing the drone down and hurling his ambulance off a bridge, timing it just right that it crashes into the drone, somehow exploding it but leaving the ambulance in-tact enough that Hobbes survives. He steps out of the ambulance (in an awesome hero shot), finishes the drone off with his pistol and then rips the mini-gun away from the drone...which somehow still functions. That Hobbes, who comes into the action late in the day without any communication with the rest of the team, is able to take out the drone, is one of the most ridiculous things about the movie, but brilliantly so.
