And finally, there's the heartfelt farewell to Paul Walker and his Brian O'Conner character in the final 5 minutes of the movie. After the gang watch him and Mia playing with Jack, they acknowledge that things are never going to be the same. Dom leaves without saying goodbye to Brian, but at a crossroads, Brian pulls up and says, "You thought you could leave without saying goodbye?" Cue an affecting montage of Brian and Dom's bromance, before Dom says, "You'll always be with me, and you'll always be my brother", and the two cars go their separate ways, with Brian retiring from the series to be a husband and father. The screen fades to white and "For Paul" appears. Given how utterly painful and difficult finishing the movie must have been, James Wan and co. did a terrific job bringing everything together for an emotional farewell to Paul Walker, giving his character a graceful, simple exit which didn't go overboard or even flirt with tastelessness.
