33 Incredible Movie Inspired Tattoos

3. Spirited Away (2001)

Artist: Dmitriy Samohin (@dmitriysamohin) Spirited Away is arguably the most beloved of Studio Ghibli's wide range of beautifully animated films and this tattoo is a fitting tribute to a fantastic film. The piece showing Chihiro and Haku (in dragon form) is so exquisitely executed that it looks like it could be a still from the 2001 film.

2. Pulp Fiction (1994)

Artist: Matteo Pasqualin (@matteopasqualin) Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction is one of the most quotable films of all-time. However, one of the most awesome lines from the 1994 film is actually from the Bible, when Samuel L. Jackson's character cites Ezekiel 25:17. Not only does this incredible tattoo use the quote but it also has a stunningly realistic portrait of Jules Winnfield who says the passage in the film.

1. Batman (1989)

Artist: Nikko Hurtado (@nikkohurtado) We've seen several Nikko Hurtado tattoos on this list but it is this piece depicting Michael Keaton as Batman which is the most amazing and worthy of being number one. It is quite shocking that someone can achieve an image of this quality using only a needle and ink. The cowl may mean that we see only half of his face, but the detail in the lips and chin is outstanding.
