25. The Feral Kid (The Road Warrior)
One of the weirdest good guys in the franchise is the child simply known as "the feral kid", a member of Pappagallo's tribe who communicates only through grunts, but is nevertheless seen as a kind-hearted savage who is rather fascinated by Max's arrival. Feral kid is the series' first proper glimpse at how a child copes in this desolate wasteland, and the results are a beguiling mix of hilarious and disturbing. WTF for sure, then, especially when he seems so taken with a musical wind-up toy which Max discovers and gives to him. That face...that hair...
