12. Tina Turner Actually Not Sucking (Beyond Thunderdome)
Few are going to argue with the fact that Tina Turner's appearance as Aunty Entity was anything more than stunt casting. After all, her previous cinematic outings were just Tommy and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, so why would anyone really think she'd be cast in this movie beyond the mere star appeal involved? What's genuinely surprising, though, is that Turner completely nails the part, of a bada** and surprisingly sexy founder of Bartertown, easily batting away criticisms that she had no business being in the movie at all. Who would've seen that coming? Plus, her involvement ensured the soundtrack was totally cool...
