27. Goose Gets Burned Alive (Mad Max)
Max's best friend Goose meets a grim fate after Johnny hurls a large object in front of his car, smashing through the windshield and causing Goose to careen off the road. Toecutter then convinces Johnny, against his own protests, to hurl a match on the wreckage, causing Goose to burn alive. Max visits Goose in the hospital, pulling back a white sheet to see that he has been severely burned, presumably from head to toe. This is the last time Goose is seen in the series, as a conversation later in the movie implies that he did not survive his injuries. Without question, this is one of the most disturbing moments in the entire franchise to date.
