1. Those Crappy CGI Dog-Monster...Things (The Hunger Games)
If there's a definite low point of the original movie, it surely has to be when those dog-like monsters (known as Muttations in the books) are released to drive the remaining tributes towards the cornucopia. Cue a terrible sequence in which these horribly-rendered CGI monstrosities chase Katniss and Peeta to the cornucopia, and it just feels wildly out of place with the rest of the film, which is much more grounded. In the first book, it's revealed that the Muttations are actually dead tributes resurrected with Capitol technology and transformed into a new creature, so at least they left that plot point out... The Mutts also lead to the highly disturbing moment where Cato attacks Katniss and Peeta on the cornucopia, but they get the better of him and throw him to the Mutts, who begin eating him alive, before Katniss delivers a mercy shot to put him out of his misery. Which Hunger Games moments most made you think, "WTF!?" Shout them out in the comments!
