4 Movies That Are Just Far Too Long

1. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

Skids-And-Mudflap-transformers-revenge-of-the-fallen-27487358-640-467 He had to be on the list somewhere, didn't he? Now we are ignoring the facts the he included racist robots, he doesn't know how to best use the IMAX format and the fact that this sigh of a film cost $200 million. This film is nearly an hour too long, though if you were to play the film at its correct speed and not in constant slow motion, it would probably only run at about seventy minutes. Instead, with over the top slo-mo and constant, almost perverse, lingering shots on cars and Megan Fox's rear end equally, we have a film with a ridiculous 149 minute run time. The film gets lost with its mix of slap stick humour, over-stylised CGI and wandering story. Apart from Megan Fox running in the desert in slow motion for nearly thirty minutes, ask yourself, what do you really remember from this film? What was the plot? It's not so much that cutting anything from this film would save it, it's more just cutting it out of our collective lives altogether that would save us. Do you agree with my choices? Are there any other films that run too long for your tastes? Let me know in the comment section below.
