40 Most Ridiculous Moments In The Fast & Furious Franchise

16. The Entire Plot Of 2 Fast 2 Furious

After letting Dom go free at the end of the first movie, Brian is "laying low" in Miami, and in Brian's book, that obviously means just changing your name and making a living by taking part in more illegal racing. Seems legit, right? Well, things get even more absurd when he finally gets caught by the U.S. Customs Service and, rather than be thrown in jail, is recruited to bring down Verone in exchange for a clean rap sheet, because Brian has such a great history with catching bad guys rather than, you know, letting them go and everything. Of course, you just have to roll with it, but it wouldn't have been surprising if the FBI let Brian complete the mission and then just reneged on their agreement, because in honesty, what would he even be able to do about it?
