10. Gigantic

After they developed the classic Jack & The Beanstalk story in Fun & Fancy Free, Disney are returning to the same well for a new take on the legend, set in Spain during the Age of Exploration.

You know what to expect from this story - though there will no doubt be some twists, including the presence of Storm Giants - but the real selling point is that it's a modern Disney released under the leadership of John Lasseter. Which almost guarantees that it's going to be brilliant.

The creative team also unites Tangled co-director (and Big Hero 6 creative advisor) Nathan Greno with Inside Out writer Meg LeFauvre, and those are some seriously impressive minds.
