41 Things In Harry Potter You Totally Missed

Easter Eggus revelio!

The Harry Potter film franchise is full of wonderful little touches, details and Easter Eggs for the sharp-eyed and literary-minded. And even though it€™s been 13 years since the first film appeared, there are still gems to be found on repeat viewings. Just last month, we ran 20 Easter Eggs in Harry Potter Films You Didn€™t Notice, and Easter Eggs aren't the end of the story, as the film universe is so rich and detailed that things get can still get lost. Prisoner of Azkaban director Alfonso Cuarón seemed to delight more than the other directors in the in-jokes, but you can find them in each film. With that in mind, we set out to find a few more hidden treasures in the Potter films: some were fairly obvious in retrospect; others surprised us with their ability to hide in plain sight. For the most part, we tried to avoid book-to-film comparisons and production goofs, but some were so relevant or obvious that they deserved inclusion.

41. We Hadn't Reached That Level Of Coolness Yet

The Philosopher's Stone (Sorcerer's Stone to the American market) is the only film where the Warner Bros. logo isn€™t incorporated into the opening credits, using the yellow-tinted wave to blue sky opening instead. In the intervening time, they managed to make it cool AND dump America Online from their name.
