5 Actors Who Got Better With Age

2. Brad Pitt

World War Z Another one all so similar to our previous entry. Brad Pitt was practically plucked out of obscurity with his role in Thelma And Louise. Women of course loved him for obvious reasons and Hollywood had another new heart throb. However, thankfully Pitt also chose to not be another generic go to guy for leads in romantic films. It would take only a few years to go by before Pitt showed up in True Romance. He then followed that with the extremely Gothic Interview With The Vampire alongside Tom Cruise. These films provided Pitt the stepping stone he needed to show Hollywood he wasn't just a pretty face but a very talented actor. Slowly Pitt began to build his career around more and more interesting roles. Two personal favorites of his work for me are David Fincher's Seven and of course Fight Club. Particularly in Fight Club is where Pitt really came into his own. As the infamous Tyler Durden he commands your attention and you really can't take your eyes off him, for acting reasons not his looks ladies! Pitt's career progression has certainly been a mixed bag in terms of big budget films and smaller ones. He is still open to the more indie style efforts he seems to enjoy nowadays. He is widely considered to be one of the biggest box office draws in the business when he puts on his blockbuster hat. Just take a look at World War Z. Whatever your thoughts on the movie you can bet it's box office success had a lot to do with Pitt being the lead. Pitt has proved time and again that as his film career progresses he as an actor is also progressing. Another actor who is surely just one role away from bagging that elusive Oscar. He has certainly come along way from the man who was solely noticed in Thelma And Louise for having an impressive physique and good looks.
