5 Actors Who Should Voice Mario Instead Of Chris Pratt In New Super Mario Bros Movie

When you want to think about a funny, energetic and likeable actor who is primed for mainstream success, it'd be easy to start gazing in the direction of Dan Fogler. This guy is charming, witty and has energy for days, which has made him hilarious in projects like Fanboys and Balls of Fury.

He has found some mainstream success in shows like The Walking Dead and Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them (which he stole the show in), but he needs that one big, leading role to show the world that he's here, and he's ready to party. Perhaps Mario could do that for him.

Fogler would be great in this role, as his voice and comedy stylings strike a fine balance between something juvenile and serious. His version of Mario would be incredibly silly with a hint of relatability that would make you fall for him instantly.

The Wizarding World star is great at sucking audiences in with his unique blend of equal parts self-deprecating and overly-confident humour, meaning he'd bring a tonne of colour to the Mushroom Kingdom.
