5 Actresses To Replace Shailene Woodley As Mary Jane Watson In The Amazing Spider-Man 3

3. Redheaded Emma Stone

Emma Stone When Emma Stone was originally cast in the first Amazing Spider-Man film, many people quickly assumed that the redheaded beauty would be tackling the role of Mary Jane. It was exciting, and no one really knew what to expect. Emma had proven to be a successful actress by that point, but were we really ready to see a new version of MJ so soon after Kirsten Dunst had filled the role? She quickly put those rumors to rest, and we saw her go back to her "roots" as the blonde bombshell, Gwen Stacy. Emma was perfect as the sweet, quirky Gwen, but we still can't help but wonder: wouldn't she be a perfect Mary Jane? She€™s definitely got the look, and despite her being a natural blonde, she looks great as a redhead as well. Emma has the rare gift of being both funny (Easy A) and sexy (Crazy, Stupid, Love), so it€™s kind of sad that she can€™t put herself to good use as both MJ and Gwen. It would absolutely be way too much of a schtick if she was cast as both of Peter Parker's leading ladies, and the green screen required for her to share screen time with herself would definitely look messy, but gosh would it be hysterical.
