This really is a blink and youll miss it Easter Egg. For a brief moment in Toy Story 3, Woody can be seen staring at the pin board on Andys wall. On first glance the pin board is just full of the usual stuff: calendars, season schedules and the like. However if you pause the film and take a real long hard look at the pin board you may just be able to make out a postcard with some writing on. Look even closer (I know its difficult) and you may be able to make out that the card is actually sent from Carl and Ellie Fredrickson, the child hood sweet hearts from 2009s Up. How do the characters know each other? Well chances are they dont, Pixar loves doing things like this and this is probably just to have those who manage to notice it scratching their heads and dreaming up all the various possibilities. This is a great example of Pixar playing with their audiences and is also incredibly well hidden. What an awesome Easter egg!
