5 Comic Book Storylines That Should Never Be Adapted (Again)
1. The Infinity Saga
While it may not have seemed like it at the time of some of the movies' original releases, every film in the MCU was building up to Infinity War and Endgame - AKA the on-screen Infinity Saga.
Both of those pictures diverted massively from the same saga of the comics, but this worked to their advantage, with them being considered the best that Marvel's cinematic universe has to offer by most fans.
With such massive build up, along with how satisfying the end products actually were as a viewing experience, it would be foolish for Marvel to rehash a similar storyline further down the road, as the Avengers saga could have concluded with Endgame due to how well it wrapped up a lot of the threads of the MCU - why even risk ruining that?
Plus, it isn't as though Marvel have a shortage of event comics to draw on for future event movies. There are dozens of other arcs comparable to the Infinity Saga, and to retread Thanos and the Gauntlet would be to ignore all of them.
