5 Films That Should Have Been Released On Blu-Ray Years Ago

Blu Ray Disc Logo I'm hoping that anyone who reads this article will decide to chip into the comments section, and start compiling their own top five list for films that should have been released on Blu-ray years ago. By no means do I look at my own top five as the least bit definitive, but it's what my own brain has compiled over the years from repeated viewings of these films. These are films in my estimation I deem to be endearing in some way, whether overtly funny, or in some cases overtly serious, and it literally boggles my mind they've not been issued at least once on the Blu-ray format to deliver the high quality look they deserve for home theater viewing. And with this recent push by studios to move more towards a "cloud" based server format for accessing films, I can't help but wonder if some of these on my list will ever see the light of day on Blu-ray. Here's hoping my fears are proven wrong. Let's take a look at the first of my five that needed a Blu-ray release years ago!
