4. The "Drunk Butler" from Splitting Heirs
This was not Eric Idles finest hour. I think he may have been asleep at the wheel when he wrote this alleged comedy about a stockbroker who finds out hes the heir to a Dukedom wrongfully held by Rick Moranis. Even if you ignore the fact that Idle and Moranis are too old to play characters born in the 1960s, the film is so mean-spirited that youre not sure if youre supposed to like anyone or just hope they all die. The only true laugh-out-loud moment comes when Idle and Moranis return home after a night of heavy drinking:
Butler: Drunk again, sir? Moranis: That's okay, Butler. So are we.
