If you ever needed extra proof to illustrate just how much of a villain The Comedian was in Zack Snyder's adaptation of the classic graphic novel Watchmen, then just hand him a flamethrower and you'll see. He's a heartless killer at the best of times but when we see him casually set a Vietcong solider alight as he smokes his cigar and grins from ear to ear, it's obviously been done before and has become second nature to him. It's as easy as burning an ant with a magnifying glass, and the fact that it's filmed entirely in slow motion makes it all the more shocking. Kurt Russell's MacReady may be the coolest man to ever use a flamethrower but The Comedian is without a doubt the sickest.
