5 Justice League Problems Aquaman's First Trailer DIDN'T Fix
1. The Screaming Dude-Bro
Why does Aquaman have to scream like a hollering banshee? Why does he have to shout "bad-ass" like an action figure you pull the string of? What's with the a-whooping and a-hollering just generally? It's incredibly annoying and suggests things about Arthur that simply don't fit his backstory.
He's supposed to have chosen to look after Amnesty Bay because nobody else would and because it suited his desire for anonymity (presumably) and yet he walks around shrieking like the douchebag captain of the LaCrosse team. It's not right and it's not welcome.
Luckily, Warner Bros still have a lot to count on for this to work, because Jason Momoa is incredibly charismatic and he looks the part. If there's anyone who will help the issues be a little more forgivable, it's him.
