5 Massive Events None Of Us Are Looking Forward Too (But Will Watch Anyway)

4. The Twelfth Doctor

Doctor-Who-logo_600x300Why We Didn€™t Ask For It If there€™s one thing Doctor Who fans know, it€™s that the characters we love the most are always the ones we€™re going to eventually lose. The only uncertainty is when exactly it will happen. This applies more to the Doctor himself than anyone else on the show. We all know that in some upcoming episode €“ maybe not in this series, maybe not in the next, but in some episode €“ the eleventh Doctor is going to regenerate. And on that sad day, Whovians across the globe will let out a collective cry of grief that will be heard from space. Many a television set will be lost on that day, and I personally will be watching while hooked up to an IV, so that I can replenish the water I€™ll be losing through my tear ducts. Why We€™ll Be Watching Anyways The next Doctor is never a disappointment. Never. The Ninth gave way to the Tenth, who in 2006 was voted Best Doctor by Doctor Who Magazine, who gave way to the Eleventh, who has been hailed by some as the best Doctor since Tom Baker. When we inevitably meet the Twelfth, we can expect him (or her?) to be just as good as, if not better than, the previous regenerations.
