5 Movie Heroes That Were Terrible Employees

2. Seth Rogen As Britt Reid/ The Green Hornet In The Green Hornet (2011)

green hornet What if the guy from Knocked Up and Superbad lost a ton of weight and starred in a superhero movie? This is the question executives must have asked themselves when they were considering casting Seth Rogen as the iconic Green Hornet. The movie did end up making a profit in theaters, but suffered mixed reviews from critics and fans. The film stars Seth Rogen as Britt Reid. Reid is the lazy party going son of a millionaire newspaper mogul. When his father dies, Reid realizes he has done nothing with his life. He decides to use his family fortune to become a superhero with help from his father€™s mechanic, Kato. He comes up with a plan to pose as the bad guy so the real bad guys won€™t know what hit them. Why is he a terrible employee? Later in the film, Reid records the District Attorney admitting to murdering his father and cutting deals with criminals with names like Bloodnofsky. Bloodnofsky and his gang chase the Green Hornet and Kato to the newspaper office; once inside Reid plans to upload the recording of the DA to the Internet, and finally expose him for the corrupt politician that he is. Instead of just bringing the flash drive to any place with a computer, Reid decides to drive to one of the largest buildings in the city, go to the top floor, and put it in his own computer. Kato drives the car through the building and lands on one of the machines that print the newspapers. They proceed to have a huge shootout throughout the entire building and Kato even drives the car into the elevator and simultaneously destroys the car and the lobby. They get up to the office building and continue to cause destruction to the entire floor. When Reid finally puts the flash drive into the computer, he realized he never recorded the conversation. He practically destroyed the entire building for no reason. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that Reid also sexually harassed Cameron Diaz throughout the entire length of the film.
