3. Jumanji (Without Any Animals)

jumanji Don't cheat and try to skip ahead - Jumanji knows. In fact, if you don't read this, then there is no telling if you'll start to grow a tail as a result...which is also one of the reason why Jumanji would be absolutely horrifying (or more so than parts of it is) if there were no animals. Yes, the 95 board game-fantasy movie about a board game that literally comes to life is very disturbing if you take away any of the animals that come out of the board. Think about the rolls that don't magic animals in to the "real world". One of them turns the floor in to quicksand, which could have horrifying results if not contained inside an attic; another sends a murderous hunter who shows no qualms about shooting children in the world. Oh, let's also not forget the one that abducts a pre-teen boy and keeps him hostage inside the game for nearly three decades. Now, imagine if the game made up for the lack of animals with more results like this for the players. Suddenly, having to deal with some mischievous monkeys doesn't look all that bad, does it?
