5 Old School Marvel Films That Need More Attention

01 Marvel is pretty much ruling the entertainment industry right now, comics, television and film all included. Every six months or so, we are greeted with a new installment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is vastly growing into a universe that in no time soon will be as big as the comic universe (except of course for X-Men and Fantastic Four, who are in their own universe. But hey, two universes are better than none. Or twenty). The critical reaction towards all of these films have been nothing but positive (the only Marvel movie this decade that was considered generally bad was Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance and, come on, it's a flaming skeleton on a motorcycle played by Nicolas Cage. It's not a bad movie, it's a guilty pleasure). However, things were not always this grand, as back in the dark times, we had such bombs as Daredevil, The Punisher (the one with John Travolta), Blade: Trinity or Ang Lee Hulk. But long, long before even these catastrophes, there were others, some of which were catastrophes also, and some of which were underrated classics. The quality of these incarnations doesn't matter, however, as they were all most certainly enjoyable to a great degree. There's something about these older variationns that's just so charming, so let's count down the five best ones. So regardless of your taste, just sit back and enjoy the ride as we count down the top five old school Marvel titles that need some well-deserved love! Click "next" to begin.
