Take the various attempts to bring Superman back to the big screen, for example. Superman Returns has to be one of the most mediocre and downright dull superhero movie experiences of recent times, so Zak Snyder has a heck of a job bringing the Man Of Steel back up to scratch with the aptly titled Man Of Steel next Summer. If Snyder gets that reboot right, then theres a good chance that the signs for a Justice League could start becoming far more positive. Theres just one problemwhat if he gets it wrong? Bearing in mind that the directors last effort Sucker Punch wasnt exactly a hit (I enjoyed it, but most critics would disagree with me there), its not as if this superhero instalment is a sure-fire hit. Again, if it doesnt go as well as planned, DC Entertainment are in the uncomfortable position of having to reinvent once of their best-loved heroes again, with the results just as uncertain as they ever were.
