1. Ridley Scott Returning To Sci-Fi
This is probably the most obvious entry on the list. Who doesn't want Ridley Scott to make another science fiction movie? He made Alien and Blade Runner back to back then just quit the genre. Maybe that's the best way to do it? Maybe he shouldn't jinx it? But, then again, third times the charm and if anyone can make a fantastic sci-fi movie it's Ridley Scott. The time is right for him to return to the genre that gave him so much recognition in the first place and what better way to do it than with the movie franchise that launched him to success? Now that he has had almost twenty years away from sci-fi, and has matured as a director, he could possibly make one of the best sci-fi movies ever if he were to make an Alien prequel. One can only hope.
