5 Reasons Everyone Should Calm Down About Ben Affleck's Batman Casting

1. A Vocal Minority

howard What really irks me about the fanboy community who throw these fits and start pathetic petitions to the studios to fire an actor is that they are a very small minority of comic fandom. Most fans have common sense and don't react in such an immature way, but these fanboys are unfortunately a very vocal and loud minority who only feed mainstream audience's perceptions of comic book fans as grown man-children when throwing these tantrums. For example, every time the fanboy community freaks over some minute detail or casting decision, how long until we see Sheldon and Leonard argue about it in Big Bang Theory? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it's infuriating when that opinion is blown out of proportion with little to no reason as to why Ben Affleck is the worst thing to happen to Batman since Joel Schumacher. These fanboys give the rest of us a bad rap and they need to sit and shut their mouths before they inflict any more damage to us and the superhero genre. Agree? Disagree?
