5 Reasons The Superhero Bubble Won't Burst Any Time Soon

2. DC Hasn€™t Even Gotten Started Yet

DC clearly has a lot of experience making hit superhero movies, but compared to the comic book precedent they're only just gearing up.

While there are a lot of signs that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be a disappointment, it€™s certainly set up to make plenty of money for DC and Warner Bros. If or when it fails to please fans, they might make the decision to reboot things yet again, or they could start focusing on their lesser known properties. Doom Patrol, The New Gods, The Metal Men, Animal Man, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, The Legion of Superheroes€ these are all characters who could work the same magic that Marvel€™s B and C listers have.

But it could go even further than that. Since DC has established its cinematic and TV universes are separate, and The Flash show has already introduced the concept of the multiverse, they could potentially have a live-action version of Crisis On Infinite Earths or even Grant Morrison€™s Multiversity. If DC ever learns to see past Batman, that is.
