4. Kurt Was Absolutely Determined To Be Successful
An interview with Kurts first girlfriend Tracy Marauder reveals how hard-working and determined Kurt actually was, despite his apathetic and care-free demeanour. Marauder explains that while she lived with Kurt, who was then unemployed, she would often come home from work and thered be a new painting on the wall, or a comic strip, and that Kurt would often sit in front of the television for hours, strumming away at his guitar. Kurts creativity never stopped, and his time out of employment only allowed him to work on his art and music further. Kurts devotion to his music career is also apparent through the notes and scrawlings shown throughout the documentary in his personal journal entries. The sheer amount of names that were considered before deciding upon Nirvana, as well as a number of obsessive to do lists regarding the band, show that he 100% committed to making a successful career from his music.
