5. We Named The Dog Indiana: Part II

We all know now that George Lucas had a dog named Indiana who inspired the name of the iconic Dr. Jones. But as far as Temple of Doom goes, Indy is not the only character with a canine counterpart. Willie Scott (the famous female American vocalist) was named after Steven Spielberg's dog. Spielberg also ended up keeping the character in the family by marrying the actress Kate Capshaw who played her! Short Round (NOT Wan Li) was named after screenwriter Willard Huyck's dog. Yet another reason for why there is no reason to dig any further into his so called "real name!"
