5 Things You May Not Have Known About Benedict Cumberbatch

5. He Has Been On The Simpsons (Twice)

The simpsons The Simpsons is one of the most iconic TV shows ever. 24 Seasons on, the show is one of the most recognisable franchises in the world. The series has featured hundreds of guest stars and it is almost a status symbol for any celebrity to have had the honor of appearing on the show. So I guess it is lucky that Benedict got to lend his voice to the Spingfield family. Twice. Okay, well, not twice. He played two characters in one episode, in the same sketch. In the episode, Homer is trying to win Marge back and wants to turn his charm on, so he decides to watch a British movie. In Love, Indubitably, Benedict plays the Prime Minister as well as whips out his signature Alan Rickman impression by playing Snape. Cumberbatch has lent his voice to many things and spends his time moonlighting by reading audiobooks. One of his signature traits is his deep and sharp British accent and it has sown up all over the place. Although, I am sure being the voice of Smaug is a bigger gig than doing a bit part in the Simpsons because he happened to be passing by.
