If the above image somehow wasn't enough to sell you on the movie alone, this Chris Colmbus-directed (Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire, Harry Potter) effort sees a race of aliens misinterpreting videos of classic arcade games as Earth declaring war, and prepare to invade. The President of the United States (Kevin James) then calls upon his video game addict buddy (Adam Sandler) to help take the aliens down, allying with his fellow video game nerd friends (Josh Gad and Peter freaking Dinklage). It's a premise so brilliantly stupid that, if it has a certain self-awareness, it could actually be a great time at the movies. Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox, Ashley Benson and Jane Krakowski also star. Release Date: July 24th
