50 Greatest James Bond Moments Of All Time

23. Quantum Of Solace: Hotel Showdown

The Spy Who Loved Me
MGM

Some will be surprised to see this so high up but Quantum of Solace's finale is, believe it or not, pretty bloody great.

A brutal and steely climax set in the inferno of a burning hotel, Quantum of Solace's finale is a furiously intense and visually stunning thrill ride that has awesome combat and unforgettable fire effects.

Better still, the shaky cam and terrible editing that plagues the rest of the film is absent, so this is a very easy action sequence to follow and in doing so, chances are you'll love every minute of it.

The scenes afterwards are also superb. Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) gets a gloriously savage death scene and Bond and Camille (Olga Kurylenko) have a very moving final conversation before parting ways.
