37. Mark Ruffalo - Hulk
Mark Ruffalo's casting came with some disappointment - and that's not an insult to the actor's abilities, it is merely a credit to Edward Norton's portrayal as the character in the Hulk's solo outing.
All concerns were allayed, however, when he appeared in The Avengers and made the role his own quite emphatically. His unassuming Banner was great, he portrayed the inner-conflict of the character excellently, he voiced the Hulk and provided full motion capture for the Hulk (the first time it had been done) - and that puts him clearly ahead of Norton as the green brute.
