Kevin Bacon portrayed Sebastian Shaw in X-Men: First Class. With the power to absorb and redirect kinetic and irradiated energy, Shaw was a major threat to every character he came up against.

Bacon played him almost like a Hugh Hefner type and as though he thought he was the movie's hero. With a less cartoonish look than the comic book version, he was a very cool villain.
