50 Greatest Performances In Marvel Movies
19. Peter Dinklage - Bolivar Trask
Peter Dinklage seemed like an unlikely casting for Bolivar Trask in X-Men: Days of Future Past for two reasons; the first is that, in the comics, he is a tall and imposing military scientist and the second is that he had already been played in X-Men: The Last Stand by black actor Bill Duke as the head of the Department of Homeland Security. Dinklage is a white actor who was born with a form of dwarfism.
But he nailed it. He portrayed the ruthless businessman and researcher brilliantly - a performance made all the more brilliant by the fact his casting went against the character's stereotypical portrayal.
