A unique entry on this list, Bradley Cooper deserves extra credit because his role as Rocket Raccoon was essentially nothing more than a voice role.
His casting as Rocket raised eyebrows, as most people were expecting a Brit to be given the role (the likes of David Tennant and Billy Connolly were generally favoured by fans), but Cooper nailed it with everything from Rocket's undeniable humour to his obvious pain.
