After having not disgraced himself in the otherwise terrible Fantastic Four movies, Chris Evans was entrusted with a key role in a different Marvel franchise when he was cast as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

First appearing as the wimpy Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger, he has since starred in the Avengers movie and The Winter Soldier, portraying the moral, noble, brave and formidable super soldier superbly. He will reprise the role in several future movies.
