35. Space Jam: A New Legacy

Space Jam A New Legacy Lebron James
Warner Bros.

An entire quarter-century (!) after the original Space Jam hit cinemas, a belated sequel is due to release, with LeBron James replacing Michael Jordan as the basketball star joining the Tune Squad to do battle against an evil digital algorithm (Don Cheadle).

Though it hasn't been formally confirmed yet, it's Hollywood's worst-kept secret that the film will feature cameos from a number of Warner Bros. characters - such as The Joker, The Mask, Pennywise, and so on - ensuring that Space Jam 2 might be the wackiest blockbuster of the entire year.

This thing will likely end up either a gloriously meta triumph or a disastrous dumpster fire, but given that WB spent a stonking $183.7 million on it, it's going to be an absolute sight to see either way.

Release Date: July 16
