24. The Way Of The Wind
As with every Terrence Malick film there's never a concrete guarantee when it will definitely come out, but this biblical drama - originally titled The Last Planet - completed principal photography around a year ago, so there's a strong chance it ends up on the festival circuit sometime this year.
Plot specifics are under wraps, but The Way of the Wind will depict pivotal moments in the life of Jesus Christ (Géza Röhrig).
Mark Rylance has claimed he will be playing four different versions of Satan, while the cast is rounded out by Matthias Schoenaerts (as Saint Peter), Aidan Turner (as Saint Andrew), Ben Kingsley, and Joseph Fiennes.
Malick makes towering epics and ponderous slogs on the turn of a dime, so we won't know which this is until we're actually sat watching it, but it could be a masterpiece.
